In what capacity would you like work as a volunteer?
Please check the areas which most interest you:
Wish Granting: Volunteers work with the children and families in the wish granting process.  Volunteers assist in interviewing the child, obtaining the items for the wish, and planning the wish.  Training is mandatory.
Events: Volunteers help organize fundraising events hosted by MAWOCIE as well as assist with those events organized for MAWOCIE's benefit by other groups.
Speaker's Bureau: Representatives for MAWOCIE are often invited to speak at service organizations, corporations, etc. Knowledge of Make-A-Wish and the ability to speak in front of small to large groups is required.  Training is mandatory.
Office Administration: Both our Tustin and Riverside offices need assistance with paperwork, database entry, and other office tasks during the work week.
Meet and Greet: Volunteers welcome wish families from outside our chapter's territory at local airports.
Computer wish: Volunteers assist with the preparation and set-up of new computers requested as wishes.
Volunteer Recruitment: Volunteers assist MAWOCIE with recruitment of new volunteers by attending speaking engagements, meetings, tradeshows, etc.
Kids for Wish Kids: Volunteers have the opportunity to bring awareness about Make-A-Wish Foundation to local schools, visit the schools for presentations, and assist with check presentations and giving awards.
