You've heard about how important it is to have a last will and testament--and maybe you already have one. But think for a moment about why.

What you put in your will is what people will remember you by. Your will gives you the opportunity to transfer the values that are important to you. And one of the best ways to leave a legacy like this is to make charitable bequests in your will.

The Form of Your Bequest
Remembering the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Orange County and the Inland Empire in your will is a fitting testimony of your belief in our mission. The wording in your will can be as brief as this:

I give, devise and bequeath ______% (or a specific amount or a percentage of the remainder) of my estate to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Orange County and the Inland Empire located at 14232 Red Hill Avenue, Tustin, CA  92780.

Regardless of the type of bequest you intend to leave, it is important that you use the correct language in your will to assure your desires are carried out. .For more information, contact Brian Panique, Development Manager of External Events, at 714-573-9474 ext. 230 or e-mail bpanique@wishocie.orgConsulting a qualified attorney or professional advisor to help you prepare and finalize your will is strongly advised.
