Internships
Interns for the Make-A-Wish Foundation ® of Orange County and the Inland Empire give their time and talents to help bring hope, strength, and joy to children who are fighting life-threatening medical conditions. The wish experience gives these kids something wonderful to anticipate and the power of a dream come true.

Interns can assist in various areas of the Foundation alongside staff and other volunteers. Internship opportunities may be available in the following departments:

• Wish Department
• Event Planning
• Marketing/Public Relations
• Kids 4 Wish Kids
• Grant Writing
• Volunteer Services/Recruitment
• Business Development/Fundraising
• Community Outreach
• Office Administration

In return for their hard work and dedication, interns receive valuable training, a chance to meet others, hands-on experience, and the gratification of making a difference in the life of a child.

If you are interested in applying for an internship for the fall 2010 semester, please send in your resume and cover letter to our Volunteer Services Coordinator, Rebecca Kwait at rkwait@wishocie.org starting July 19, 2010 until July 30, 2010. All interviews will be conducted in the first two weeks in August. Fall internships will begin at the end of August/beginning of September. Thank you for your interest in the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
