Steven, Yucca Valley, CA “I wish to go to Island Dolphin Care”Steven is fascinated with the ocean. He likes to read books and watch programs about the different creatures that live in the ocean, especially dolphins. When he is not reading or watching programs about the ocean, Steven is asking his family to take him to the beach or the pool so he can go swimming. This inquisitive young man knew he wanted his wish to combine the two things he loved the most. He decided he wanted to swim with the dolphins and learn more about them. His adventure began in Florida at the Island Dolphin Care center. Steven was able to meet the dolphin trainers and spend time with them. He then went on a tour of the park facilities to see how the dolphins are cared for and treated at the park. After the tour, Steven was ready to meet and swim with the dolphins. With the trainer by his side, he jumped in the water and his journey began. For the next four days, Steven swam and played with dolphins. His smile and enthusiasm let his family know how much he was enjoying himself. Steven wish trip was a truly amazing experience. His mom said, “Our trip was absolutely perfect, and we will never forget it!! Thank you so much!” Steven returned from his wish a happier, more hopeful, and healthier young man. |
