Dominic, Apple Valley, CA "I wish to be with Star Wars Heroes " Dominic, an energetic five-year-old with muscular atrophy, has found strength throughout the course of his illness by identifying with super heroes. Imagining himself as a Star Wars superhero Dominic uses his good nature to fight against the evils of the world. His wish came true when he was given the opportunity to be amongst his favorite Star Wars heroes at the Hollywood premiere of “The Clone Wars.” Dominic and his parents arrived at the Egyptian Theatre receiving a true hero’s recognition along the red carpet. Fans looked on as Dominic and his fellow Jedi Knights discussed the power of the Force. Even George Lucas was on hand to meet the young Jedi, Dominic. The director of “The Clone Wars” asked him what he thought of the movie. Dominic gave it a raving review expressing his new found admiration for the valor and virtue these characters demonstrate. Dominic still talks about his wish experience. That day was amazing for him because he was surrounded by so many noble movie heroes. But the truly amazing thing is what this little boy demonstrates every day… the inner strength which guides him through life’s most challenging battles.
