Naomi, Trona, CA “I wish to have my book published”
Naomi''s interest and talent in writing does not necessarily stem from her delicate medical past, but rather her passion for writing comes from a blossoming young writer who has stories to tell. She wanted to share her faith and "save others for God’s glory." She penned “A New Seed Planted” as fiction but with a true message for all of us – that God has His plan and we should open our hearts and minds to embrace it.
When it came time for Naomi to select her wish, it was a toss up between going to New York or having her book published. Realizing that she could visit New York another time and that having her book published might be a once in a lifetime possibility, Naomi chose to have her book published. And when her wish was granted, she could not have been more pleased or excited. As an added surprise, Naomi''s favorite author, Joshua Harris, wrote the forward to her book. Through Make-A-Wish, Naomi was invited to do a book signing at a local bookstore. It was truly a memorable event. In an effort to thank those who helped her along the tenuous path, she is donating proceeds from the sales of her book to The Heart Institute at Loma Linda and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
