Wish Family Thank You for Cadence, "Wish to go to Disneyland and meet the Princesses"To Everyone at Make-A-Wish, There are no words that could properly express our gratitude to you. Our trip was simply a dream come true. When you grow up, get married & have children… you are never prepared to see them so ill or hurt so much. It’s heartbreaking. But!! … There’s hope… to see them laugh & smile & play without a care in the world and to live a “normal” life even if for a week is absolutely priceless. To have special treatment from Princesses rather than doctors & nurses!! Too cool! To give them toys & treats we could otherwise never afford right now because of the tremendous financial stress was such a relief. I think unless you live it… you’ll never “truly” know what an amazing gift it was you gave us. The deep emotions my husband & I shared watching Cadence as ‘Ariel’ embraced her will never be forgotten. For as long as we live and as long as Cadence, our little Tinker Bell, lives… we’ll always have her Make-A-Wish trip tucked away in our hearts. Her smile at that moment could have lit up the whole park… breath taking! These are the things that make life so sweet. With God’s help, she’ll one day tell her children. We shall forever hold Make-A-Wish in our hearts & have added your organization to our annual toy drive efforts that we started 3 years ago. We look forward to giving back to you!
